We understand our world:

• When we go out and about in the community
• When visitors come in and read us stories
• When we read stories and find out about children from other parts of the world and space making arrangements with different objects and creating patterns
• When we explore the effects of the weather on our environment
• By observing changes to our natural surroundings
• We take care when observing minibeasts and looking after the plants in our outdoor area
• We really enjoy taking photos of things that we have observed in our surrounding and exploring different technology and how it works
